Rudy Bellani - Graduate Student / Internet Geek
I was born in Bolivia, South America and moved to the US when I was nine years old where I quickly gained lots of weight because of my love for American milk. Currently, I am a Rockefeller graduate student in the Fernando Nottebohm and Tao Sun (Cornell) laboratories working on the molecular development of brain asymmetry and cognitive lateralization in canary and chicken models. I have been fortunate to publish several papers and receive some awards and honors including Society for Neuroscience (SFN) and National Science Foundation (NSF) graduate fellowships. Outside of science, I love history, ants, literature and football. I still share a passion for milk, but in the form of cheese
(If you haven't tried it, Humboldt Fog is fantastic!).
